BIOGRAPHY - LINDA LEIGH

Linda Leigh is a hair artist, specializing in creative hair replacement. She received her formal training at Vidal SassoonAcademy in cut & color, and proceeded to learn the art of hair replacement : the making of custom hair pieces and extensions.
She specializes in integrating cut, color, and texture of the clients’ hair with the extension or hairpiece so the hair blends very naturally. She has designed a collection of hair pieces which provides solutions to many complicated hair loss issues. Her pieces may also be worn for fun to bring out different parts of one’s personality. The pieces all enhance style and beauty.
Linda volunteers a portion of her time to cutting wigs at City of Hope for children with cancer. She is actively involved with the NationalAlopeciaAreata Foundation and with various groups assisting those with cancer.
Her work has been used in tv and film. Most recently she made hairpieces for

“Shark” and for the HBO movie “5 Miles of Bad Road”.
Linda was interviewed for the tv show “Your LA” and appeared on “KTLA’s Morning
Show” as LA’s Hair Doctor where she presented live models wearing hair pieces and discussed the impact of hair on self esteem and personality.

Linda received her doctorate in clinical psychology in 1993 where she specialized with the creative process. As an educator, Dr. Linda Leigh has presented workshops to the Los Angeles Times, UCLA Extension, and The American Film Institute.
