How much are hair extensions?

It depends on:

1. whether you are purchasing wefts or individuals
2. the length
3. the color; and if you are adding more than one color to the extension
4. the texture, ie straight versus curly
5. the density, how thick or thin you want the result

A complimentary consultation is highly recommended to determine what kind of extension in most appropriate for your needs and to assess pricing.

How long does the hair last?

It depends how you take care of the hair; and what quality of hair you purchase. With high quality hair one can expect:

Hand tied wefts: 3 years (and longer)
Individual hair extensions: 2 years

We do offer the service (for those using microcylinders to attach), of re-preparing the individual hair extensions after 4 - 6 months so you do not have to buy new hair.

 How long does the extension stay in?

• Hair wefts attached with microcylinders: 6 weeks.
• Hair wefts attached by braiding and sewing: 8 weeks.
• Individual hair extensions attached with microcylinders: 3-5 months.
• Individual hair extensions attached with keratip lasts 3-5 months.
• Individual hair extensions attached with microchet: 5 months.

We highly recommend changing whatever attachment you are using after 2 months for the health of your hair.

Can I re use the hair?

Yes you can re use wefts and individuals. The only extension which is not reused is individual extensions with the keratip or other glue like bond. In this case new hair is purchased at each attachment.

What do I do the day of my appointment?

It is very important if you are having individual hair extensions attached with microcylinders - to shampoo your hair with a clarifying shampoo with no conditioner and dry your hair before arriving to have the extension attached.
